National Marine Park

Situated in Laganas Bay, the Zakynthos National Marine Park seeks to conserve the sea turtle Caretta Caretta’s nesting beaches, the seal population Monachus Monachus, the avifauna, the terrestrial and coastal flora and fauna, and the marine ecology.

If, as you enjoy the pristine waters, you happen to spot a Caretta Caretta turtle nearby, don’t be alarmed.

Take a tour of Zakynthos Town and the historic Bohali neighborhood, which is home to the well-preserved Venetian Castle. The Blue Caves, Marathonisi (Turtle Island), the sunset near the village of Keri, and Kampi, with its breathtaking vistas, are a few other noteworthy locations.

The endless beach of Laganas with its crystal clear waters and golden sand is the most famous beach of the island with organized facilities and many activities.

The town of Zakynthos offers many interesting sights to the visitor such as the famous church of Agios Dionysios, many museums and the squares of Solomos and Agios Markos. In Zakynthos town you can walk among the small Venetian streets! There are shops, traditional taverns, luxury restaurants and cafes.

Zakynthos International Airport “Dionysios Solomos” (ZTH) is a few minutes drive from the hotel and there are always plenty of taxis available for your transfer.  

Zakynthos is about 90 minutes by boat from the port of Kyllini. Another hour’s drive from the port of Kyllini is the new port of Patras, which is connected to the Italian ports of Ancona, Bari, Brindisi and Venice. Patras is the third largest city in Greece and the capital of the prefecture of Achaia.
